Our Story

A family legacy across borders

An Idea is Born

Learning the trade from Italian and Spanish immigrants in Argentina, Avelino and Adela Molina created their family business in the early 60's. Manufacturing new lounges from own designs. In 1974 they moved to Australian shores where they specialised further in antique furniture. . 

Family legacy moves on

In the early 80's, son Alberto starts his apprenticeship in the family business to then take over A. Molina Upholstery, after his parents' retirement in the mid 90's. Joining his wife Jeannette to partner in a new era of the business. They have since lead the business with the same high quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. 

Present days

Now in a new location the family business continues and is expanded to include their eldest daughter Natasha. Business is renamed to Molina Upholstery Decor, maintaining its priority in offering premium upholstery and decorating services. Lead by Alberto with now over 37 years experience in the business.
